Ryan is a civil litigation attorney who concentrates his practice on complex commercial, real property and construction disputes in state and federal court. Ryan represents a variety of clients, from individuals and small businesses to nonprofit organizations and publicly traded companies. He routinely advises clients in litigation prevention strategies and pre-suit settlement negotiations.
As a member of the firm’s real estate and construction practice, Ryan counsels owners, contractors and developers regarding public and private works projects, negotiating contracts and litigating payment disputes, breach of contract claims and other matters under the New York Lien Law.
In 2023, Ryan was recognized by the New York State Bar Association as “Empire State Counsel” for his commitment to providing pro bono legal services to low-income individuals.
Prior to attending law school, Ryan served as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army where he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
