Profile

Ruth assists clients on a wide array of legal issues affecting bankruptcy management and bankruptcy avoidance, including through mediation and restructuring.

Prior to joining Bond, Ruth volunteered as a pro bono attorney for the Civil Legal Advice and Research Office (CLARO), a non-profit organization that provides limited legal counsel to low-income New Yorkers facing consumer credit and debt collection actions.  As a law student, she interned at the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Connecticut and worked directly with Chief Bankruptcy Judge Ann Nevins. In this role, Ruth drafted bench memorandum, presented research topics to the Judge, reviewed case dockets and observed hearings to debrief.

Ruth was also a law fellow at Quinnipiac University’s Office of General Counsel where she led capabilities assessments for the contract management life cycle and prepared legal research projects. Ruth has a master’s in business administration and is also a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Internal Auditor.  She has experience as an associate director of global internal audit at a global biopharmaceutical company.
