Before joining Bond, Mike co-founded the Slive/Glazier Sports Group, the first sports law practice concentrating exclusively in the representation of colleges and universities in NCAA-related matters. Prior to that, he served seven years on the NCAA staff where, in addition to his primary responsibilities involving infractions, compliance and legislative matters, Mike also served as staff liaison to the American Football Coaches Association and the Postseason Football Committee. He has authored several published articles on collegiate sports law and the NCAA and is a frequent speaker for both athletics and attorney organizations.
Mike has been listed in and has been cited by the Sporting News as one of the 50 most influential people in sports and has been the subject of feature articles in Sports Illustrated, USA Today, The Chronicle of Higher Education and numerous other publications.
