Megan works with clients on a wide array of trust and estate issues. Megan assists clients in creating and implementing customized estate plans tailored to each client’s family, financial and business goals. She works with clients to design and execute various succession planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, health care proxies and powers of attorney, as well as beneficiary designations and other documents to transfer and protect assets.
Prior to joining Bond, Megan worked at another firm on Long Island, focusing her work on representing creditors in consumer debt collection proceedings. She drafted, reviewed and approved pleadings, motions and settlement agreements. Megan also has prior experience appearing as a court evaluator pursuant to Article 81 of the Mental Hygiene Law, where she functioned as a neutral party during proceedings assigned to her by Nassau County Supreme Court.
