Practice directly related to the establishment and maintenance of independent, religious, charter and public school classes includes the chartering or incorporating as schools of both not-for-profit and business entities; amending and extending charters; merging institutions; assisting in governmental reviews and audits of educational programs; obtaining and maintaining permits for child care programs; and seeking funding to the extent that it is available for special education and tutorial support, food programs, technology and security.
Mariam’s higher education practice includes compliance with legal requirements and guidance on disciplinary matters for both students and faculty. She also assists in independent investigations at the request of institutional administrators.
