Laura counsels hospitals, long term care providers, physician practice groups, medical device manufacturers, home health agencies and other health care providers with respect to all aspects of labor and employment law. Laura is co-deputy chair of Bond's labor and employment practice.
She has represented health care clients before the New York State Division of Human Rights and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Laura has also represented health care clients in arbitrations under collective bargaining agreements, counseled employers with respect union organizing campaigns, assisted with mergers and acquisitions of health care organizations, and provided management training for health care administrators and supervisors. She is a frequent lecturer and has authored and co-authored articles on a range of legal topics affecting the health care industry.

For five years, Laura served as Governor Andrew Cuomo’s appointee as Chair of the Fourth Department Judicial Screening Committee and a member of the Governor's State Judicial Screening Committee. These Committees evaluate the qualifications of judicial candidates and make recommendations to the Governor with respect to which candidates are highly qualified to hold judicial positions.
