Prior to joining Bond, Kaydeen was an attorney in the corporate practice of a Connecticut based firm. There, she provided legal support to clients in the corporate and healthcare sectors, including physician practices, hospital systems, municipalities, educational institutions and related entities. Kaydeen’s expertise extends to conducting regulatory analyses and preparing legal memoranda keeping clients informed of evolving standards, which safeguard their operations from potential legal and financial risks. Her experience includes the creation of general privacy policies, detailed HIPAA compliance reviews, Business Associate Agreements and the support of data protection strategies.

While in law school Kaydeen interned for the Honorable Victor A. Bolden at the United States District Court in Bridgeport, Connecticut and the Honorable Richard F. Braun at the New York Supreme Court, Civil Branch, in New York City. Kaydeen also interned for the State of Connecticut Department of Health in Hartford, Connecticut as well as the general counsel’s office at a large Federally Qualified Health Center based in Connecticut. Kaydeen’s interest in law began to take shape when she started advocating for disabled clients at her father’s firm, Maurice Maitland, LLP during high school and continued through law school, laying the foundation for her legal career.
