Joseph has been a commercial litigator for nearly 40 years primarily representing banking and insurance industry clients. He has tried cases and conducted evidentiary hearings in both the federal and state courts, as well as twice seeking certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court. Joseph has litigated cases ranging from multi-million dollar lending, corporate and bankruptcy disputes to mortgage foreclosure, insurance coverage, lender liability, libel and civil rights.
Joseph has also briefed and argued numerous appeals before the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the First and Second Departments of the New York State Appellate Division. He has represented pro se appellants before the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit pro bono, spoken at seminars on topics which include commercial litigation, debt workout and mortgage foreclosure and has been appointed by the Bankruptcy Court to investigate and report on lender liability issues.

Prior to joining Bond, Joseph was a partner at Lazer, Aptheker, Rosella & Yedid, heading up its banking litigation practice. He also served as law clerk to Hon. Edward D. Re, Chief Judge of the United States Court of International Trade from June 1983 to June 1985.
