John is a long term care attorney with 34 years of experience in health care. He focuses his practice in areas of specialized contract reviews, third party liability (TPL) and related payment disputes, fraud prevention and internal compliance.
John was formerly senior counsel with the Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) and has worked continuously in the field of medicaid fraud and abuse and TPL since 1979, starting with the New York State Department of Social Services and then moving to the New York State Department of Health’s Division of Legal Affairs in 1996 before joining the staff of the Office of the Medicaid Inspector General.
