He counsels lenders for a variety of workout and non-workout situations. John also collaborates with other Bond attorneys who routinely litigate construction disputes, prosecute foreclosures, handle collection matters and represent lenders in borrower bankruptcies.
He represents tenants, landlords and developers for office and industrial leasing and development projects. John also negotiates retail leases for both landlords and tenants.
John spent several years as counsel to a multistate retail and mixed-use developer. Acting in that capacity, he gained recognition as an expert in commercial leasing, construction contract negotiations, construction loan and permanent loan financing. He is currently a member of the New York Bar Association’s Committee on Real Estate Construction.
