In addition, Jessica has successfully represented both entities and individuals in tax disputes before both the Internal Revenue Service and the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. She has particular experience in penalty abatement requests, negotiating favorable outcomes for clients both on her written submissions alone and in argument during hearings and conferences.
Prior to joining Bond, Jessica completed a two-year clerkship with the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department in Rochester, New York. This experience provided her with a unique and developed perspective on the law as well as strong analytic and writing skills, all of which she utilizes each day in her practice.
