Jeffrey B. Scheer - Hospitality and Tourism
Profile
Jeffrey is a business law attorney who represents a wide range of small to mid-size businesses across New York State, including Metropolitan New York City.
As a member of the firm’s hospitality and tourism practice, Jeffrey provides legal counsel and strategic advice to clients navigating the regulatory thicket of the emerging cannabis industry. He counsels entrepreneurs on compliance with federal and state regulations, including those established by the New York State Office of Cannabis Management and Cannabis Control Board, with respect to both medical and recreational cannabis ventures. He also assists with business formation, capitalization, financing arrangements, corporate structure, shareholder agreements, licensing (for the cultivation, processing and dispensing of cannabis) and the transfers of licenses.
