Profile

Erin works with employers on a wide variety of labor and employment matters.

Erin serves as a strategic business partner for clients, utilizing an outside “in-house” counsel approach when providing counsel on personnel-related matters. From the outset, Erin focuses on understanding a client’s business and objectives and tailors her counseling to those objectives when identifying, minimizing and resolving potential issues that can result in costly litigation or enforcement. Erin partners with clients on developing individualized employee onboarding documentation and personnel policies to best meet their needs and routinely provides support on issues such as personnel management, investigations, individual layoffs and reductions in force, leave of absence administration and reasonable accommodation practices.

Erin has extensive experience representing employers in federal and state court litigation and administrative proceedings against discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims, wage and hour claims and other federal and state employment law claims.

Prior to Bond, Erin was a partner at an Albany area law firm in their labor and employment, education and litigation and appeals practice groups. She also practiced at a firm in New Jersey, focusing on labor and employment and education law, after completing a clerkship with the Hon. Edward V. Gannon, New Jersey Superior Court, Civil Division.

Erin graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law where she earned the Jackson Lewis Employment Law Scholar award and the ABA/BNA Award for Excellence in Labor and Employment law.

Erin proudly serves on the Board of Directors for the Saratoga Bridges Foundation and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.
