Emily is a labor and employment law attorney who represents and counsels management in a wide variety of labor and employment law matters, including, but not limited to, employment discrimination and workplace harassment, wage and hour issues, wrongful discharge, leave issues, employee discipline, civil rights issues, improper practice charges, labor arbitration and collective bargaining issues.

She has experience negotiating contracts with adjunct faculty members, firefighters, police, rank and file employees and teachers, and she regularly handles disputes arising out of such contracts.

Emily often deals with matters pertaining to the New York State Public Employees Fair Employment Act (the Taylor Law), Title VII, the New York State Human Rights Law, New York State General Municipal Law Sections 207-a and 207-c, New York State Civil Service Law Sections 71, 72, 73 and 75, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and the New York State Education Law.
