Edward has experience in property tax assessment challenges and litigation representing private individuals, private corporations and public corporations in connection with their real property tax assessment issues and settlement of such claims.

He has addressed valuation issues associated with all types of property including private residences, private lakes and lodges, reservoirs, mining operations, commercial rental property and businesses, a wide variety of industrial and manufacturing facilities, and utility properties.

In addition, Edward handles a broad array of construction and commercial disputes in state and federal trial and appellate courts. A large portion of his practice is dedicated to litigating construction disputes, land use/planning and zoning, and constitutional rights claims. Edward has represented over 50 public owners in all aspects of construction-related matters, including colleges, school districts, hospitals, not-for-profit entities and other public and private entities. In the last 10 years, he has counseled clients in connection with numerous construction projects the value of which collectively exceed $1 billion. Edward has lectured and published on a variety of topics, including trial practice, construction law and subrogation law.
