Dennis works with clients on a wide array of labor and employment issues and litigation in state and federal court. Dennis represents clients against discrimination complaints before the EEOC and New York State Division of Human Rights as well as advises clients on collective bargaining issues. He also represents municipalities defending Section 1983 claims.
Prior to joining Bond, Dennis was corporation counsel at the City of Long Beach, NY. In this role, he managed five attorneys and advised and represented the Acting City Manager, City Council and all employees of the City. He represented matters including employment discrimination, personal injury, false arrest, police brutality and breach of contract actions. Dennis was also a county attorney at the County of Suffolk in Hauppauge, NY and prior to that, the Chief Deputy County Executive in the same office. Dennis also spent several years as a District Court Judge in Suffolk County District Court in Islip, NY.
