Chris has litigated in the state and federal courts in various jurisdictions throughout the United States for more than 45 years. He represents clients in civil trials and appeals involving commercial matters, will contests, trust disputes, construction claims, government contracts, securities issues, surety bonds, bankruptcy issues, banking, shareholder disputes, corporate and partnership dissolutions, insurance claims, product liability claims, maritime disputes, ERISA litigation and civil rights claims.
He has represented individual and corporate clients involved in contract disputes in Europe and Latin America, and has appeared as counsel in arbitrations or hearings before the American Arbitration Association, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals and various city, state and federal government agencies. He has acted as trial counsel to major national banks and several municipalities.

Chris’ corporate experience includes representing domestic, foreign and international corporations and he has served as counsel to national trade associations, foundations, charities and other nonprofit organizations. He has represented cooperative corporations and condominium associations and been involved in major commercial real property transactions as well as landlord/tenant and secured lender representation.
He has served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel of the City of New York, and on the National Panel of Arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association, as well as the Trustees’ Panel of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
