Profile

Christopher works with clients on a wide array of trust and estate issues. He helps each client plan for the future by providing advice and representation on estate and tax planning, wills and trusts, power of attorneys and guardianship proceedings. Chris strives to use his knowledge and connections in aging and law services to give clients peace of mind as they plan for what comes next.

Prior to joining Bond, Chris was a senior attorney in the guardianship unit at the Center for Elder Law & Justice (CELJ). In this role, he collaborated with professionals to effectuate and oversee Article 81 guardianship cases for the personal needs and property management of 100 incapacitated persons at any given time. He also piloted and managed the operations of CELJ’s Aging with Pride Project, which included providing civil legal services to LGBTQ+ older adults. This work was initially made possible by a post-graduate fellowship from the Borchard Foundation Center on Law and Aging.  Prior to these roles, Chris worked as an attorney at CELJ’s MedLaw Partnership of Western New York. Here, he oversaw operations of a medical-legal partnership between the Center for Elder Law & Justice and the Erie County Medical Center Corporation, providing civil legal services to the hospital’s patients.
