Charlie brings to Bond a distinguished career as a trusts and estates attorney, joining us after six decades of practice with Putney, Twombly, Hall & Hirson LLP.
Most recently, he was of counsel to that firm and formerly partner and associate, having joined Putney after law school. He concentrates his practice in trusts and estates law, including estate and tax planning; drafting of wills, trusts and related documents; administration, settlement and distribution of estates; and resolution, negotiation or litigation of contested matters.

Charlie continues to advise families, estate and trust beneficiaries, individual and corporate fiduciaries, and charitable organizations. He has frequently served as Guardian ad Litem in the Surrogate’s Court.
A frequent lecturer, he has taught law, written extensively, and edited a leading textbook for New York lawyers. He served in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of First Lieutenant before commencing the practice of law.
