- Advising ZBAs, Planning Boards and HPCs on land use applications

- Negotiating and drafting inter-municipal agreements
Charles currently acts as attorney of record for the Village of Williamsville, and he serves as special counsel to several other local villages, town and other municipal entities in litigation and non-litigation matters. He regularly provides zoning, SEQRA, historic preservation and general municipal training to municipal boards throughout Western New York.
