Passionate about helping clients protect their innovations, Cecily provides comprehensive support for a large array of intellectual property issues. She assists in navigating the intricacies of patent and trademark prosecution as well as ensuring her clients receive informed counsel and strategic guidance tailored to their specific needs. Cecily’s early career is marked by a strong foundation in legal research, enabling her to explore the nuances of intellectual property law and offer innovative solutions to client challenges.

Prior to joining Bond, Cecily was an intern at a toxicology consultant firm where she assisted with professional toxicological opinions to legal firms, corporations and governmental agencies. She was also a law clerk in the Law and Appeals Bureau for the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office where she assisted with research requests and memorandums for assistant district attorneys. Cecily was also a senior research associate at the Innovation Law Center at Syracuse University. There, she provided clients with intellectual property, market and regulatory research reports to aid in commercializing inventions. Cecily was also an intellectual property intern at RapidSOS where she aided in patent portfolio management, assisted in drafting patent applications and led innovation capture sessions with inventors. Additionally, through her participation in the Transactional Law Clinic at Syracuse University, she provided legal services to small businesses, start-ups and non-profits through a United States Patent and Trademark Office certified clinic.
