Anne represents and counsels school districts, private schools, charter schools, BOCES and employers across New York State with a focus on special education, general education and labor and employment issues.
Anne represents schools on several matters including special education due process hearings and appeals, Commissioner of Education appeals, Committee on Special Education (CSE) and Section 504 meetings and student discipline hearings. She also counsels educational institutions on records and privacy, discipline, homelessness, student residency, immunizations, Red Flag law, DASA and FOIL compliance. In addition, Anne provides guidance to boards of education regarding Open Meetings Law, Education Law and school district policy and procedures.

Anne’s practice also has a focus in training school staff and personnel regularly on developing individualized education programs (IEPs), Section 504 Plans, functional behavioral assessments (FBAs), behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and chairing CSE meetings. She also counsels employers on various labor and employment issues and conducts workplace investigations.
Prior to joining Bond, Anne represented educational institutions as an attorney at a Rochester based firm and a Long Island firm. She was also a school psychologist at a Nassau County public school district, where she chaired CSE meetings, supervised interns, and worked directly with students, faculty and parents. Anne is a licensed psychologist in New York, a certified school psychologist in New York and Connecticut and a certified music teacher in Connecticut.
