Bond, Schoeneck & King has long recognized the value, both to its attorneys and the communities in which we work, of active participation in and support of charitable, governmental, professional and community based organizations.
Presently, Bond attorneys and staff are actively involved in many community based activities for many organizations, including Boys and Girls Club, CNY Food Bank, Crouse Hospital Foundation, School Boards of Education, Church Trustee, Wetlands Forum, Child Care Council, Boy Scouts of America, County Bar Foundation, YMCA, Legal Aid Services of Collier County, Legal Aid Society, Salvation Army, American Red Cross, Local Environmental Advisory Council, American Heart Association, Local Symphony, Local Art Museum, Local University Board of Regents, United Way of Central New York and United Way of Collier County, to name just some.
Bond attorneys have distinguished themselves over the years by serving as New York State Lieutenant Governor, New York State Majority Leader and Legislator, New York State Insurance Commissioner, New York State Supreme Court Justices, District Attorney, President of the New York State Bar Association (on three occasions and once as the second woman elected to the post) and in many other leadership positions in local, state and federal bar associations, corporation counsel of various governmental entities, Dean of the Syracuse University College of Law, and Chairman of the Albany (New York) Medical Center, and members of the boards of directors of numerous corporations and not-for-profit organizations.
