“Effective, Smooth Integration Produces Major, Full-Service Firm”
(Buffalo, NY): Bond, Schoeneck and King, PLLC announced today that it has successfully completed its planned combination with Jaeckle Fleischmann & Mugel, LLP, resulting in a 48-lawyer office. This makes Bond one of the largest law firms in Buffalo and Upstate New York. The combination was first announced on Sept. 30.
“After a highly effective and smooth integration with the Jaeckle team, our firm is now poised to deliver a platform of expanded and more in-depth services to our current and prospective clients,” said Daniel Forsyth, co-managing member with Joseph Kubarek of the Bond Buffalo office.
“This combination could not come at a better time as we witness the continuing revitalization taking place in Buffalo and Western New York,” Kubarek said. “A full service law firm with a commitment to New York State, providing a high level of service and yet delivering on a value promise, is exactly what is needed in this economic environment.”
“Over the last three months, after the combination was announced on September 30, our lawyers and staffs have been working together to prepare for a seamless transition for both Jaeckle and Bond clients with the goal of offering them enhanced capabilities, accompanied by broader expertise and a wider scope of industry experience,” said Kevin M. Bernstein, chair of Bond’s Management Committee.
Bond’s now full-service Buffalo office will be operating in Jaeckle’s former offices in the Avant Building at 200 Delaware Ave., Buffalo.
With the completion of the combination with Jaeckle, Bond’s nearly 20-year-old Buffalo office will feature considerable experience and team depth in practice areas that include labor and employment, litigation, employee benefits, intellectual property, public finance, corporate restructuring and creditors’ rights, business and transactions, tax law, trust and estates, and environmental and energy.
Among those industries served are healthcare, higher education, advanced manufacturing, municipalities, hospitality and tourism, and real estate.
Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC is a law firm with 270 lawyers serving private and public sector clients, and individuals, in a broad range of practice areas. Bond has 11 offices in New York State, and offices in Naples, Florida and Overland Park, Kansas.
