Update on New York State’s Paid COVID Leave Policy

As a bonus to Bond’s February 15 Back to Business webinar, Bond labor and employment attorney Jessica C. Moller provided an update on New York State’s paid COVID sick leave policy in the wake of the state Department of Labor rescinding guidance previously issued in January 2021. Although no new guidance has been released, the state last week posted answers to frequently asked questions about paid leave for COVID-19 on its website.
