As a bonus to Bond’s May 2 Business in 2023 webinar, Bond labor and employment attorney Corinne E. Tierney talked about a new law in New York City that regulates the use of artificial intelligence tools in hiring. Local Law 144, which took effect in January 2023 but will not be enforced until July, requires more transparency from employers who use automated employment decision tools (AEDTs) for hiring.
