By: Nicholas P. Jacobson

In this week’s Business in 2024 webinar, Bond labor and employment attorney Nicholas P. Jacobson discusses the wide-ranging implications of the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent ruling that overturned the “Chevron doctrine.” The doctrine, which required federal courts to defer to a federal agency’s interpretation of an ambiguous law, came out of a landmark 1984 decision in Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council, in which the Court upheld the Environmental Protection Agency’s interpretation of the Clean Air Act.
