Roger Bearden Joins Bond, Schoeneck & King

(Albany, NY): Bond, Schoeneck & King announced the addition of Roger Bearden as Senior Counsel. Bearden is an attorney with more than two decades of experience in health and human services in the public and private sector. Over the past 12 years, he has served in multiple senior leadership positions in New York State government, including as Executive Deputy Commissioner and General Counsel for the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, Special Counsel in the Governor’s office, and Chair of the New York State Commission on Quality of Care and Advocacy for Persons with Disabilities.
With his extensive governmental experience, Bearden brings a keen understanding of New York State government to his clients. He has worked closely with leaders in the provision of developmental disability, mental health and health care services. He has extensive experience in Medicaid and in developing innovative public/private partnerships.
