Robert Manfredo to Present as Guest Speaker at Columbia-Greene JSEC Labor and Employment Law Update

This seminar will provide employers with an overview of key updates on significant labor and employment law developments, as well as a forecast on what other potential changes may be ahead for human resources professionals in 2018. Among other things, attendees will receive information about new wage and hour requirements in New York, including the New York State Department of Labor’s proposed “call-in” pay regulations, the latest on New York’s Paid Family Leave Law, and major developments at the National Labor Relations Board significantly impacting the drafting and administration of employee conduct policies for both unionized and non-unionized employers.
Guest Speaker: Robert Manfredo
A 2017 Upstate New York Super Lawyers Rising Star in the area of Employment and Labor Law, Rob counsels employers to ensure compliance with the vast array of laws and regulations that employers encounter on a daily basis. Rob counsels clients in a broad range of industries, including higher education, non-profit, construction, and health care. Rob is also an experienced litigator who routinely represents employers in proceedings before federal and state courts. Rob serves on the Board of Directors of the Capital Region Human Resource Association.
