Public Sector Labor Relations in the Aftermath of Janus v. AFSCME
July 10, 2018 - July 12, 2018
Our School Law attorneys will help you navigate potential landmines and strategize for the future in the aftermath of Janus v. AFSCME, a case which could end “agency fees,” thus allowing public employees to completely opt-out of union membership. By attending this seminar, you will:
- Understand the recent changes to the Taylor Law and a Union’s Duty of Fair Representation
- Learn how to respond to employees who ask questions about the right to withdraw from a union
- Learn what you can do if it looks like there is no longer a majority of employees in a bargaining unit
