New Rochester Office Expands Firm's New York Presence

(Syracuse, NY) Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC is pleased to announce the opening of its Rochester Office with the addition of five attorneys. This location enhances the Firm's strategic presence across New York State with offices now in: Albany, Buffalo, Garden City, Ithaca, New York City, Oswego, Rochester, Syracuse, and Utica. The Firm also has offices in Bonita Springs and Naples, Florida; and Overland Park, Kansas.
"We have planned to complete our footprint across New York State for some time," said Richard D. Hole, Chairman of BS&K's Executive Committee, "so when the appropriate opportunity presented itself, we were ready to move forward."
According to Mr. Hole, the Rochester market is not new to BS&K. "We have a number of clients based in the Rochester area, including major healthcare, manufacturing and high-tech organizations. Our Rochester office will allow us to enhance our level of service, as well as provide us with the opportunity for new business."
BS&K's new office is located in the Woodcliff Office Park in Fairport.
The five new attorneys joining BS&K were previously with Harris Beach, PLLC in the firm's Rochester headquarters. These attorneys, who join BS&K as members (partners) of the Firm, are: Timothy M. Fitzgerald (Real Estate); Edward P. Hourihan, Jr. (General and Commercial Litigation); Brian Laudadio (General and Commercial Litigation); Peter C. Lutz (Real Estate); and Gregory J. McDonald (General and Commercial Litigation).
Mr. Fitzgerald focuses his practice on real estate acquisitions and sales, commercial real estate development, commercial mortgage lending, and commercial leasing. He is a graduate of St. Lawrence University (B.A. 1990) and Albany Law School of Union University (J.D., 1993).
Mr. Hourihan, a litigator, handles a wide range of commercial disputes focusing on trial and appellate practice, litigating construction disputes, land use/planning and zoning, insurance defense claims, and constitutional rights claims. He is a graduate of Siena College (B.A. 1987) and Western New England College of Law (J.D., 1990).
Mr. Laudadio, who is also a litigator, represents clients at the trial and appellate levels of state and federal courts. He concentrates his practice in the areas of labor and employment matters, banking issues, commercial contract disputes and business tort litigation. He is also knowledgeable in Native American law, advising municipalities in Indian Land Claim and related Native American litigation. He is a graduate of the University of Rochester (B.A. 1993) and Syracuse University Law School (J.D., 1996).
Mr. Lutz practices commercial real estate law and represents clients in leasing matters (including retail, office, manufacturing and warehouse leases); in lending matters (including bank and securitized loans, and title examination); and in the purchase and sale of real property. He is a graduate of Le Moyne College (B.A. 1983) and Notre Dame Law School (J.D., 1986).
Mr. McDonald, a litigator, represents clients at the trial and appellate levels of both state and federal courts. He represents clients in commercial disputes, employment discrimination matters, business-tort litigation, trade secrets and employee non-compete litigation, contested fiduciary accountings, and construction related disputes on behalf of owners, contractors, design professionals and sureties. He is a graduate of Tulane University (B.A. 1991) and Pace University Law School (J.D., magna cum laude, 1995).
