New NYC Law Requires Pay Equity and Transparency

As a bonus to Bond’s March 1 Back to Business webinar, Bond labor and employment attorney Sarah A. Luke recorded a brief video to discuss New York City’s new pay transparency law, which goes into effect May 15, 2022. An amendment to the city’s Human Rights Law, the new rule seeks to promote pay equity and transparency by requiring employers with four or more employees to list the minimum and maximum salary in job postings. In her video, Sarah recommends steps employers can take now to prepare.
