New York Paid Family Leave

Last year, to much fanfare, New York passed a paid family leave law. Under this law, employers—including many small businesses not subject to the Family and Medical Leave Act—soon will be obligated to provide employees with up to 12 weeks of leave, paid for by a fund financed by deductions from employees’ pay.
This 1 hour presentation, exclusively for CxOs, owners and top-level human resource managers, will review employers’ obligations under all the leave laws on the books (the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the New York Human Rights Law), explain the new obligations under New York’s Paid Family Leave law, and discuss the interplay among the myriad of regulatory requirements.
