Martin A. Schwab has been appointed Deputy Chair of Bond's Estate and Financial Planning Department.
Mr. Schwab is a partner with Bond, Schoeneck & King and concentrates his practice in estate planning and the administration of estates and trusts with emphasis in related tax matters. His practice includes the use of revocable trusts, life insurance trusts, charitable remainder trusts, and other trusts designed to save estate taxes. Mr. Schwab's practice includes estate planning for individuals with large pension, profit-sharing and IRA accounts including strategies designed to maximize the deferral of income taxes imposed on those assets. It also involves estate planning for closely held business owners as well as litigation involving trusts and estates. Mr. Schwab is also experienced in personal income tax compliance and planning and asset protection planning. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. Schwab is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law (J.D., 1990); Syracuse University (LL.M., Taxation, 1998); and Clarkson University (B.S., with distinction, 1983).
