Mark Berman and Dawn Wilson Join Bond’s New York City Office

(New York, NY): Bond, Schoeneck & King is pleased to announce Mark A. Berman has joined the firm’s New York City office as member (partner) and Dawn M. Wilson has joined as senior counsel. Berman and Wilson concentrate their practice on complex commercial litigation as well as real estate, employment, technology, complex title and e-discovery conflicts. Berman is a seasoned appellate attorney and alternative dispute resolution practitioner. He has been a court-appointed discovery master in a significant business litigation. Wilson has significant experience representing financial institutions, corporations, executives, shareholders and brokers in both federal and state court and at the appellate level.
“Mark and Dawn are seasoned litigators, with proven experience in a variety of cases and industries, and Mark is a well-known practitioner in the commercial divisions throughout New York State,” said Louis DiLorenzo, co-managing member of the firm’s New York City office. “We are lucky to have them join us and strengthen our downstate litigation team helping position their clients for successful outcomes.”

Prior to joining Bond, Berman was a litigation partner with Ganfer Shore Leeds & Zauderer and before that, he was a commercial litigation associate with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York City and served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Michael L. Orenstein, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of New York. He has authored a regular column on e-discovery in The New York Law Journal since 2005 and now is the author of “The Virtual Lawyer” column. Berman earned his law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and his bachelor's degree from Columbia College, Columbia University.
Wilson was of counsel with Ganfer Shore Leeds & Zauderer’s litigation department and before that a partner with Alston & Bird and special counsel with WilmerHale and Sullivan & Cromwell. Wilson earned her law degree from New York University School of Law and received a bachelor's degree from Fordham University.
