Bond Names Jennifer Schwartzott as Deputy Managing Member of its Rochester Office

(Rochester, NY): Bond, Schoeneck & King is pleased to announce Jennifer M. Schwartzott has been named deputy managing member of the firm’s Rochester office. She will work with Edward Hourihan, Bond Rochester’s managing member, sharing office management responsibilities.
According to Hourihan, “Jen has brought a great deal of energy to our office since she joined the firm several years ago. She is a strong advocate for her clients and a wonderful role model for our younger attorneys in the office.” Hourihan goes on to say, “Jen will be a strong partner collaborator as we oversee the growth of the Rochester office.”
Kevin Bernstein, chair of the firm’s management committee, added, “Jen has been an active member of our Rochester office from the moment she joined us. She will be a valuable addition to the leadership team, working with Ed to continue the office’s growth and delivering excellent legal services to our clients.”
Schwartzott has over 20 years of experience counseling clients facing significant litigation exposure and assisting clients manage risk and achieve desired business outcomes. She has particular experience representing hospitals, physicians, nurses, physician's assistants and other medical providers in adversarial proceedings, including medical malpractice lawsuits, professional discipline matters and commercial disputes. Schwartzott also serves as outside general counsel for several municipal and private entities. Schwartzott was named as one of 2021’s Women of Excellence by the Rochester Business Journal.
