Intellectual Property Litigator Jeremy P. Oczek Joins Bond, Schoeneck & King

(Buffalo, NY): Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC (Bond) is pleased to announce that Jeremy P. Oczek has joined the Firm's Buffalo Office as a Member of its Intellectual Property Group. Prior to joining Bond, Mr. Oczek was a Partner with Proskauer Rose LLP, where he was resident in the Boston office.
Mr. Oczek is an experienced intellectual property litigator. He represents clients at both the trial and appellate level, and has litigated cases in federal courts across the country, including in Massachusetts, Texas, Illinois, Florida, and Delaware. The cases in which he has been involved cover a broad range of technologies, including medical devices and biotechnology, immunoassays, industrial and manufacturing equipment, computer architecture, computer networking, VoIP technology, digital signal processors, and Internet, financial, and software processes. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Oczek also counsels clients on all aspects of intellectual property law.
Mr. Oczek is admitted in New York and Massachusetts, and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He also is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the First Circuit and Federal Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the District of Massachusetts and Eastern District of Texas. In 2010, he was named a "Massachusetts Super Lawyers Rising Star" in the area of intellectual property litigation.
Mr. Oczek is a 1997 graduate from the State University of New York College at Geneseo (B.S., Biology) and a 2000 magna cum laude graduate from Boston College Law School, where he was Managing Editor of the Boston College Law Review. A native of Buffalo, he began his legal career in Boston in 2000, where he practiced for nearly 11 years before joining Bond.
