There have been a number of legal developments that expand the protections afforded to pregnant workers. The result is a patchwork of laws imposing various obligations on employers. 

In this workshop-style seminar, we will cover:

  • Workplace accommodations for the pregnant worker
  • The interplay of Paid Sick Leave, Paid Family Leave, FMLA and the ADA for infertility, pregnancy, childbirth and bonding time and beyond
  • Recent amendments to New York State law concerning breastmilk expression
  • Avoiding liability for pregnancy discrimination and harassment
