Bond’s Naples Office Honored by the United Way
September 1, 2015
(Naples, FL): Bond, Schoeneck & King is pleased to announce it was honored for its efforts on behalf of the United Way at its July board meeting. Bond is also pleased to announce that it has selected the United Way’s recently established volunteer program as the charitable program through which to plan Bond’s 2015 Community Service Day activities.
“The United Way of Collier County (UWCC) Board and I are grateful to Bond’s partners in the Naples office who demonstrated their investment in our community through 100% participation in their United Way workplace campaign this year. Their workplace campaign helped us successfully reach and exceed our community-wide campaign goal in those critical last weeks of the campaign. Taking their involvement to the next level Bond has asked United Way to organize a volunteer project for their entire staff as part of their annual picnic day. The United Way commends Bond for its community involvement through our volunteer engagement effort. In particular, we appreciate the leadership of Curtis Cassner, who ignited his firm’s United Way campaign and has supported our annual Walk event with a personal sponsorship along with encouraging Bond’s sponsorship of the event. Curtis, who serves as a member of the board of directors of UWCC is also helping launch our United Way Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Curtis is a true civic champion and Bond’s leadership team’s strong encouragement of him in his work for UWCC serves as a model to others of community leadership,” said Steven L. Sanderson, president and CEO of the United Way of Collier County.
