December 2, 2021
(Syracuse, NY): Bond, Schoeneck & King is pleased to announce that the New York State Bar Association has awarded The Bond, Schoeneck & King Series on Race and Justice in Central New York the 2021 Innovation Award in the medium sized bar association category. The firm was the presenting sponsor of the Onondaga County Bar Association and Syracuse University College of Law initiative. The series was created to provide legal and non-legal programming aimed at opening a respectful, constructive and healthy dialogue about systemic racism and unequal access to justice in the community.
The firm will continue to support the series as it begins its second year of programming in 2022. “Sponsoring the Race & Justice in CNY initiative provides us the opportunity to support our community,” said Kevin Bernstein, chair of the Bond, Schoeneck & King Management Committee. “It is one way we can play a part in eradicating the scourge of racism to build stronger, inclusive communities where we live and work.”
