Bond, Schoeneck & King Named to 2024 Bloomberg Law Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Framework
July 31, 2024
(Syracuse, NY) – Bond, Schoeneck & King is proud to announce that it has been named to Bloomberg Law’s Fourth Annual Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Framework. Bond is one of only 57 U.S.-based law firms that was recognized on its distinguished performance against the Framework’s six pillars: recruitment and retention, leadership and talent pipeline, business strategy and innovation, firm demographics, diversity and inclusion and marketing, and disclosure.
Kim Wolf Price, Chief Strategy and Diversity Officer at Bond said, “The Bloomberg DEI Framework allows us to see areas for advancement more clearly and guides us as we continue working for change. This recognition provides encouragement that the work we have done is moving us in the right direction as we continue our inclusivity efforts.”
The Bloomberg Law DEI Framework is the legal industry’s first and only standardized, fully transparent methodology to measure law firms’ performance in this critical arena. Submissions to this year’s DEI Framework increased by 15%, the third year in a row of double-digit growth, providing an even more robust view of diversity in the legal industry.
In the four years since Bloomberg Law launched the DEI Framework, the data shows incremental but important changes in law firm demographics. More information about the 2024 Bloomberg Law DEI Framework, the methodology and a full list of members is available at https://aboutblaw.com/beIM.
Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC is an AmLaw 200 law firm with more than 300 lawyers serving individuals, companies, nonprofits and public sector entities in a broad range of practice areas. Bond has 15 offices, including 11 in New York State, as well as in Florida, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Kansas.
