This complimentary program, the second in a multi-part series with the New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General, will provide medical provider compliance officers, administrators and executive officers with global updates on the implementation of OMIG’s updated compliance standards. Kathleen Watras, Director of the OMIG’s Bureau of Compliance, will be a featured speaker.
We will discuss:
- The changes spurred by the rulemaking and its subsequent adoption;
- The OMIG’s approach to enforcement, and differences resulting from the rulemaking;
- The OMIG’s observations through early implementation of the new compliance program reviews; and
- Best practices for providers as they build and enhance compliance programming to reflect the revised standards.
