Bond Names New Buffalo Office Managing Member and Deputy Managing Member

(Buffalo, NY): Bond, Schoeneck & King is pleased to announce James J. Rooney has been named the managing member of the firm’s Buffalo office and Mitchell J. Banas, Jr. has been named deputy managing member.

James J. Rooney is labor and employment law attorney who has practiced for more than 20 years. He assists both public and private sector employers in connection with a wide variety of employment-related matters, including labor arbitrations, union negotiations and proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the National Labor Relations Board and the New York State Public Employment Relations Board.

Mitchell J. Banas, Jr. has extensive experience in complex commercial and tort litigation of all varieties (including breach of contract, noncompete, construction, environmental, energy, antitrust, insurance, class action, civil rights and intellectual property litigation), representing both plaintiffs and defendants (including municipal entities).  His clients include companies in the advanced manufacturing, health insurance and energy industries.
