Mr. Hourihan is a litigation attorney who addresses a broad array of business and commercial disputes at the trial and appellate levels in both state and federal courts. He regularly represents Fortune 500 and other large corporations, insurance carriers, municipalities and public and private institutions. A substantial portion of his practice is dedicated to litigating complex corporate business disputes, construction disputes, contractual breaches, insurance defense claims, land use/planning and zoning actions.
In addition, Mr. Hourihan has represented over 50 owners in all aspects of construction law, including contract negotiation, claims consulting, and litigation and arbitration. In the last 10 years, he has counseled clients, including colleges, school districts, hospitals and other public and private entities, in connection with numerous construction projects the value of which collectively exceeds $1 billion.
