Bond & OMIG to Discuss OMIG’s Common Findings in Recent Compliance Program Reviews

This complimentary program, the fourth in a multi-part series with the New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG), will provide compliance officers, administrators and executive officers in healthcare with global updates on the implementation of OMIG’s updated compliance standards. In the forthcoming program, speakers will highlight lessons learned and themes identified following OMIG’s review of several dozen programs in the months since OMIG began its enforcement of broadly reworked regulations that affect compliance programs.
Speakers will include Kathleen Watras, the director of OMIG’s Bureau of Compliance (BOC), Mary C. Nicklas, CPIP, a manager within OMIG’s Compliance Program Review Unit, and Kaitlin Halpin, a supervisor in the OMIG’s Compliance Program Review Unit. Bond attorney Jackson Somes will moderate the program and Bond presenters will include healthcare attorney Gabriel Oberfield.
