Biden’s NLRB Reshaping the Labor Relations Landscape - Complimentary Webinar

September 7, 2023

By: Thomas G. Eron and Erin S. Torcello

In less than a month, the National Labor Relations Board has dramatically changed the legal principles for unionized and non-unionized employers with a series of new decisions. From handbooks and employment policies to union organizing to collective bargaining negotiations, major changes have been implemented by the Biden administration to curtail employer prerogatives, limit employee free choice and boost unions’ institutional interests.

Most significantly, for non-unionized operations, the Board’s Cemex Construction decision requires employers to respond immediately to a union demand for recognition or lose the opportunity for an employee election and be forced, by Board order, to recognize and bargain with the union as the exclusive employee representative.

With the assistance of former NLRB General Counsel Peter Robb and Assistant GC Alice Stock, we are offering a complimentary webinar to educate our clients on Cemex and other recent Board actions and to strategize for the new labor relations landscape that confronts us now.
