Our Summer Program:
Bond's summer program is the primary method through which new lawyers become a part of our firm. Our Program is crafted not to simply introduce you to the Firm, but to provide a thorough experience with respect to the Firm’s high-quality environment, its collegial atmosphere, its culture of teamwork and collaboration and an understanding of why Bond stands out in the marketplace. Plus, your experience at Bond will enhance your understanding of the application of the law in a number of settings and circumstances and help you envision your own life as an attorney.
Furthermore, the Program’s mentoring and constructive feedback on your assignments will add to your skills and development. Beyond the exposure to real-world matters, the Summer Law Clerk Program also includes opportunities to socialize and get to know both your peers as well as other attorneys and Firm leaders.
The program runs for ~10 weeks. At the start of the program, all Summer Law Clerks will spend a few days in Syracuse, NY for a mandatory orientation program.
Bond has a free-flowing assignment system that allows summer law clerks to work on projects from a variety of practice areas and attorneys. Law clerks in our larger offices (esp. Syracuse, NY) will formally rotate through all 5 departments (Business, Labor & Employment, Litigation, Property, and Trust & Estates).
