Mr. Hole is Chair of the firm's Executive Committee. He is a member of the firm's Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice Group, and has as over 30 years experience counseling a wide range of clients in the design, implementation, operation and termination of all types of employee benefit plans, including defined benefit, defined contribution and cash balance retirement plans, non-qualified deferred compensation arrangements, severance pay plans and stock based plans.
Mr. Hole has served as counsel to pension committees and investment committees for the retirement plans of numerous private employers, providing advice and guidance on fiduciary and other compliance issues. He has represented employers in proceedings before the Department of Labor, the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation and the Internal Revenue Service. With a general background in corporate transactions, he has assisted many clients in the employee benefits aspects of acquisitions, mergers and divestitures.
Mr. Hole is a frequent lecturer for numerous organizations, including the New York State Bar Association, the New York State Small Business Council, the New York Employee Benefits Conference, the Dental Society, the New York State Bankers Association and HANYS.
