    Intellectual Property Attorney Dr. Alek P. Szecsy Joins Bond, Schoeneck & King

    (Syracuse, NY) Bond, Schoeneck & King, PLLC (BS&K) is pleased to welcome Alek P. Szecsy, Ph.D. as Of Counsel to the Firm in the Intellectual Property Department.

    Dr. Szecsy has extensive experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in areas that include the chemical, chemical engineering, materials science, semiconductor device/process technology, magnetic read/write head technology, automotive control technology, industrial catalyst, food science and biomedical analytical arts. Dr. Szecsy has also provided oversight of foreign associates for international prosecution of patent applications. In addition, he has also researched and drafted patent legal opinions in the organic polymer and industrial catalyst fields.

    Prior to becoming a patent attorney, Dr. Szecsy was employed in industry in scientific, engineering and administrative positions. He is a graduate of Hofstra University (B.S., Chemistry, 1975), the State University of New York at Stony Brook (Ph.D., Physical Inorganic Chemistry, 1978) and Pace University School of Law (J.D. and Environmental Law Certificate, 1993).
